On 21 December 2020, Fondation Tany Meva officially opened the reforestation campaign for the year 2020/2021. Nearly 30,000 seedlings will be planted for this season and the Foundation’s staff travelled to the reforestation site in Ankarabe, rural commune of Tsaramasoandro, Ankazobe district, to mark the start of reforestation and thus fulfil its duty as a citizen. The local community from the four surrounding villages will also be mobilised and involved in the reforestation of the 30,000 seedlings. The campaign will end in the second half of February 2021 in the presence of the local authorities and members of Fondation Tany Meva’s board of directors.
